The first example (the guy on the train from the article did several things wrong. First, he talked to someone wearing earbuds who clearly wanted to be left alone. Secondly, he touched someone without her consent, which is never okay. Third, after she made it clear that she didn’t appreciate his advances, he doubled down insisting that it was a compliment. Compliments are intended to make the receiver happy, and when they have the opposite effect, the polite thing to do is apologize and back off. If the person says, “B!tch, learn to take a compliment! then it’s clear that his intention was never to make the woman happy, but that he was hoping that he’d get something in return from her (usually a date or sex).

In 2020 Trump or the Dems will be blamed for the gridlock. We'll have to see who the voters agree with. One good thing is that Trump has the microphone.
